Creative assets had to become compliant campaign deliverables
Craft supplied campaign creative and technical specifications, but the final assets still required hands-on development. Each concept had to be translated into animated HTML5, adapted across standard display dimensions and packaged according to campaign-delivery requirements.
This work sits between design and engineering. Visual fidelity matters, but so do click behaviour, animation timing, fallback handling, file size and the ability to hand off a clean package without additional technical production inside the agency.
The engineering decision: embed specialist production into the agency workflow
Craft retained campaign ownership and supplied the creative direction and technical specifications. DevX joined as assigned external creative-technology capacity, converting that approved input into compliant HTML5 and static deliverables.
This kept the production boundary clear while making multi-format development, localization, review and final packaging part of the agency’s existing delivery workflow.
What DevX produced
- HTML5, CSS and JavaScript development based on supplied campaign creative.
- Adaptation of campaign concepts across multiple display dimensions.
- Animation implementation and timing adjustments.
- Dynamic clickTAG integration.
- Fallback-image preparation.
- File-size and delivery-compliance work.
- Cross-format checking and final package preparation.
- Revision cycles based on Craft’s production feedback.
Ventura OS campaign
For the Ventura OS campaign, DevX produced 12 HTML5 banners built from three creative variants and adapted across four standard advertising dimensions.
The assignment required consistent creative behaviour across formats while keeping each unit within the technical limits defined for delivery.

DevX also supported Craft with static and banner localization and adaptation for the Netherlands market. The work included additional format adjustments and production amendments required during the delivery cycle.
Production-ready assets without adding internal HTML5 capacity
Craft received packaged assets that could move directly into its campaign workflow. DevX acted as external creative-technology production capacity for the assigned work, allowing the agency to outsource the engineering-intensive part of banner production.
No campaign media-performance data was provided to DevX. The case study therefore reports delivered scope and production output, not click-through rate, engagement, conversion or revenue impact.
