HB Antwerp · B2B diamond platform

Engineering a B2B platform for a global diamond company

HB Antwerp had a defined visual direction and a complex set of product materials that needed to become a usable digital platform. DevX joined the project through a structured engineering engagement covering implementation, technical documentation, functional review and iterative refinement.

Project overview

Turning a sophisticated product story into a functional B2B experience

The project combined product information, distinctive diamond imagery, motion assets and multiple information pages. The implementation needed to preserve the premium visual direction while remaining usable across desktop and mobile.

The platform also had to pass functional review by operational stakeholders. That meant the assignment could not stop at visual reproduction; navigation, content behaviour, contact flows and the handling of supplied media all required engineering attention.

A formal delivery framework with direct stakeholder access

The engagement was established through a service agreement, delivery timeframe, resource plan, quotation and technical documentation. This created a shared definition of the work before implementation advanced.

DevX collaborated with HB Antwerp through dedicated meetings, a project Slack channel and structured feedback documents. Product and supply-chain stakeholders could review the platform directly and identify functional issues without information being lost between layers of communication.

What DevX implemented

  • Responsive frontend implementation based on the supplied platform direction.
  • Information and contact-page layouts.
  • Integration of diamond-shape visuals, video and animated background materials.
  • Content population and support for evolving page copy.
  • Navigation and functional behaviour across the platform.
  • Technical documentation and implementation clarification.
  • Functional corrections based on stakeholder review.
  • Iterative refinement as missing visual materials became available.
  • Coordination across DevX engineering and HB Antwerp product stakeholders.

A reviewable B2B platform built through a controlled implementation process

HB Antwerp received a working platform that could be reviewed and refined against both visual and functional expectations. The structured feedback loop allowed issues to be addressed progressively instead of accumulating until the end of the project.

DevX acted as the implementation partner for the assigned platform scope. The case study does not attribute broader HB Antwerp technology, supply-chain performance or commercial outcomes to this engagement.

Delivered outcomes

  • Responsive B2B platform implementation
  • Rich product and motion assets integrated into the experience
  • Functional review handled directly with operational stakeholders
  • Technical documentation and structured delivery governance
  • Iterative correction process throughout implementation

The platform and its public presentation may have changed after the original engagement.
